The Kisiizi Falls lie on Kyabamba River a short distance from Kisiizi Hospital. The falls provide Hydro- Electric Power to the hospital.

Location
These beautiful falls are located in the Southern part of Uganda in a district known as Rukungiri that neighbours the famous Kabale. They are located about 65km from Kabale town through Muhanga Trading centre.

Special Features
These falls are as high as 30 Meters and the water drops this distance into a canyon.
Mist can be seen from 100 meters away.
Kisiizi hospital located hundreds of meters away.

Getting there and away
One coming from Kabale will drive for 32kms only to reach Muhanga trading centre on the Kabale – Mbarara Rd then take the left, a mar-rum  road for 33kms that leads to the falls and Kisiizi Hospital. Averagely, it will take close to 2hrs in a private vehicle.

The Kisiizi Coach (Blue in colour) runs directly between Kampala and Kisiizi daily except Sundays. This Coach takes off as early as 4:30 from Kisiizi.

History
At these falls many pregnant girls met their death. Girls who got pregnant before marriage or in their youth would be thrown off the falls only to meet their death. As a reason, fornication and early pregnancies were avoided. It was the brother of the girl who got to do the killing.
